Preview: Villa vs Arsenal

The Premiership's top side Arsenal travel to Aston Villa after suffering their first defeat in 29 games against Sevilla in midweek. Elsewhere, Blackburn were given a 4-0 pasteing by Aston Villa, who look to be one of the Premiership's form sides.

Team News

Gabriel Agbonlahor (gashed foot) and midfielder Stiliyan Petrov (ankle) should be fit, whilst Cesc Fabregas is likely to miss out but the improving Flamini is set to return. Gallas and Adebayor could return after a rest, and there are doubts over Clichy and Hleb.

O'Neill: great form

"It's been a great few weeks for us. We were faced with three away games and I'm delighted we've won all three.

"But I know from this time last year that if you lose a game, the confidence drops and you can't buy a win - that's around the corner for any of the sides outside the top four. "

Wenger: we can beat them

"I watched them against Blackburn and they were good but I still feel we can beat them.

"They are overall a side which is physically compact and very direct. Gabriel Abgonlahor and John Carew up front give you a lot of problems."

Eyefootball Premiership Predictor

Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal

A good game - but one Arsenal need to win to keep their season's strong start going. They haven't really been tested away from home... yet.
