Bafetimbi Gomis to join Swansea
Swansea City are on the verge of wrapping up a deal for French forward Bafetimbi Gomis. The Lyon man had been linked with a transfer to QPR and Everton but Welsh side Swansea have won the race for his signing.
Interestingly, Swansea were amongst the most recent teams to have tabled an offer for Gomis as both QPR and Newcastle have been linked with a move for the player for over 18 months. Reports from France suggest that a deal worth approximately 16 million euros will be wrapped up in the coming week. Gomis is expected to sign a five year deal at the Liberty Stadium.
