Marouane Fellaini linked with Italy move
Louis Van Gaal is reportedly planning to sell Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini this summer and numerous Italian teams are chasing the player. Juventus are amongst the favourites to secure his signature.
David Moyes, the former Manchester United coach, bought Fellaini from Everton at a price of £27.5 million in 2013 and Fellaini faced high pressure to perform due to his price tag.
His performances in the World Cup been less than impressive barring a comeback goal in their first World Cup win against Algeria when he came on as a substitute and then later scored the equaliser.
Louis Van Gaal has reportedly told United officials that "he is not a Manchester United player" and will sell him if he doesn't impress him for the remainder of the World Cup.
Belgium will face Argentina in the Quarter Finals of the World Cup and it will be interesting to see if Fellaini produces a performance that will silence his critics and will extend his stay with the Red Devils.
Juventus are ready to spend up to 25 million Euros to secure Fellaini's signature and the Belgian could be brought to the "Old Lady" as an eventual replacement for either Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal.
