Dusan Tadic set to complete Southampton transfer
Southampton have won the race to sign highly rated Serbian winger Dusan Tadic. The 25-year-old midfielder has spent the last four years playing in the Eredivisie, firstly for FC Groningen before moving on to Twente.
For a winger, Tadic has a very impressive record and Southampton will be hoping that he repeats his goalscoring exploits in the Premier League. At Groningen he bagged 14 goals in 68 games and at Twente he returned 28 goals from 66 games.
Southampton's new manager Ronald Koeman has been very busy already. Graziano Pelle agreed a transfer from Feyenoord in a 7.5 million Euro deal yesterday and today Southampton have paid 16 million Euros to secure Tadic's coveted signature.
Numerous top European sides have been watching Tadic's progress closely. AC Milan were rumoured to have sent scouts to catch the Serbian international in action and French giants Monaco were also believed to have made an enquiry for the 5 foot 11 player just last October.
