Arsenal to offload Carl Jenkinson this summer
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to allow the sale of Carl Jenkinson this summer, according to The Mail.
The Gunners look set to complete their first signing of the summer in Newcastle United's Mathieu Debuchy in the upcoming week, and this could spell the end of Carl Jenkinson's future at the Emirates.
The 22-year-old, who joined the club from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2011, has been forced to play second fiddle to Bacary Sagna for the right-back role over the past few seasons.
Following the departure of Sagna to Manchester City on a free transfer, the Gunners have opted to sign Debuchy as replacement, and this is likely to end Jenkinson's stay at the North London club, as he aims to play the first team football on a regular basis.
