Tottenham plan late bid for Belgium forward Divock Origi?

Tottenham are planning a surprise move for the seemingly Liverpool-bound striker Divock Origi. The Lille forward has apparently already opened talks with Liverpool, but Spurs are hopeful that they can hijack a deal for the striker.

Origi burst onto the scene at the World Cup and numerous Premier League scouts were in attendance to watch the forward in action.

The highly rated 19-year-old is set to complete a move to England this week and had been lined up by Liverpool as a replacement for Luis Suarez.

Tottenham are set to compete with Brendan Rodgers' side for Origi's signature though, as they have submitted a late offer.
