Christian Atsu to Espanyol?
Chelsea midfielder Christian Atsu is reportedly in advanced talks with La Liga club Espanyol as the player looks set for another loan.
The Ghana player could be heading to the club on loan following a successful temporary stay at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in Eredivisie.
Premier League club West Ham United have also been linked with the player, and a stay in the Premier League would show the Chelsea boss if Atsu is ready to compete in England.
Atsu made 30 appearances for Vitesse last season, scoring five goals and setting up six in that time.
He impressed in the World Cup playing for Ghana and looks like he could ultimately make it in Chelsea’s first-team.
It will ultimately be Jose Mourinho’s decision as to where he sees Atsu’s development best served.
