Liverpool plot move for Arda Turan

Liverpool are reportedly readying an offer to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan this summer, according to The Express.

The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been provided with a hike in the transfer budget following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, and the club would sign at least three more players during the summer transfer window.

According to The Express, Rodgers is keen on making a move for the Turkish international who helped Atletico win their first La Liga title in 18 years.

However, it is believed that the Basque club would not allow the sale of their prized asset, unless the Reds meet the £32m release clause in the player's contract.

Barcelona and Manchester United have also been associated with a move for the talented midfielder this summer.
