Chelsea eye move for French youngster Allan Saint-Maximin
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's busy transfer window could still continue as reports from France suggest that the Blues are weighing up a 2 million euro move for 17-year-old winger Allan Saint-Maximin, who currently plays for St Etienne.
The highly rated 5 foot 8 forward has only recently made his first appearance for Les Verts' full squad and looks set to be an important player for the future of French football. Saint-Maximin has already appeared for France's under-17 side and has caught the eye of several top European clubs.
The Blues have made a habit of signing the best European talent on offer in recent seasons and Mourinho wants to continue purchasing the hottest prospects and sending players on loan for first team experience. Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem remains a likely destination for Saint-Maximin should a deal be pushed through.
Chelsea are to open talks with St Etienne in the first week of August.
