Arsenal deemed favourites to sign Brazilian Superstar

Arsenal are reportedly in pole position to sign one of Brazil's best this summer, according to a report.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been keen on bolstering his squad this summer, and has already completed the signings of Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers up to now.

Sources from Brazil reveal that the Gunners are eager to add another top-class striker before the transfer deadline, and Zenit St.Petersburg star Hulk comes first in the list of targets for the club.

Hulk had been previously linked with a switch to the North London club, but the lack of financial power forced the FA Cup champions into giving up on their pursuit for the Brazilian international in recent years.

It is believed that a bid in the region of £40m would be sufficient to seal a deal for the former Porto star.
