Sunderland chasing Micah Richards

Sunderland are to make bid for Micah Richards before the transfer deadline. On September 1st the Black Cats are hoping to wrap up a move for the defender.

With just two days of the transfer window remaining Sunderland are planning a last gasp attempt to lure Man City defender Richards. The full back has already told Man City that he wants regular first team football as Richards is now third choice full back behind Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.
