Adam Lallana set for Liverpool debut?
Liverpool's summer signing Adam Lallana could play his first competitive game against Aston Villa on Saturday.
The England international, who joined the Reds on a £25m fee from Southampton, is yet to make a league appearance following a knee injury sustained during the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
According to The Mirror, the talented midfielder is believed to be ready for selection after regaining his full fitness during the one month lay-off.
However, his fellow countryman Daniel Sturridge could miss at least three weeks of first-team action with a thigh injury.
