Liverpool to snap up Fulham youngster

Liverpool will make their move for highly-rated Fulham forward Patrick Roberts in January, according to The Mirror.

The 17-year-old has been one of the bright lights for the Cottagers, who have had a below-par start to the Championship season.

The Mirror reports that the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers had sent scouts to watch the talented youngster in action in recent games. Having received a positive feedback, Rodgers is likely to seal a deal with the West London outfit for Roberts in the New Year.

Roberts has made 12 appearances for Fulham this season.
