Marek Hamsik on Arsenal radar?

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Slovakian international midfielder Marek Hamsik. The Napoli star is valued at around 37 million euros by the Italian club.

According to a report from the Metro this morning, the 27-year-old is a target for Arsene Wenger in the January transfer window. With concerns over the long term future of Mesut Ozil, Arsenal could plump for the signing of Hamsik as a like for like swap. Hamsik is desperate to win a league title with Napoli but has so far come up short and is now considering a move to England. Hamsik is also a target for Liverpool, who have also indicated that they have an interest in a new creative midfielder.
