Tottenham forward Adebayor to leave in Jan

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor will be allowed to leave White Hart Lane in January. The Togo forward has been told he can leave on loan.
Numerous teams are expected to be in the race for Adebayor, with French club Rennes and Marseille showing some interest. The former Man City and Arsenal striker has also been linked with a return to Spain, where he spent a short period with Real Madrid, as both Valladolid and Villarreal hold an interest in the striker. Adebayor lost his place in Tottenham's first team this season to impressive youngster Harry Kane.
