Aston Villa chase permanent Cleverley deal

Aston Villa are ready to sign midfielder Tom Cleverley to a permanent contract. The England international is currently on loan from Man Utd.

It has been reported this morning that Paul Lambert's side have agreed a fee with United and that the player can move on a permanent deal in January.Cleverley has been an important member of Villa's squad this campaign during a loan spell in Birmingham and will now make arrangements for a permanent relocation.Villa have beaten the likes of West Brom and Sunderland in wrapping up a deal for Cleverley.
