Agent confirms Man Utd interest in 'Star Defender'

Manchester United will look to sign up one of the best young prospects in Ligue 1 next summer, according to Le Parisien.

The Red Devils have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos in recent weeks, with Louis van Gaal keen on bolstering his defensive setup.

When asked about the speculation by Le Parisien, the 20-year-old's representative Giuliano Bertolucci confirmed that the Mancunian giants have made contact regarding the central defender.

"Last summer, PSG's president declared that Marquinhos was unsellable." He said.

"We will see what their position is this summer. Many clubs are interested in the player [and] Manchester United are one of them, this is true."
