Chelsea to bid for Raheem Sterling this summer?

With Chelsea set to dispose of Andre Schurrle in the summer, it is understood that Jose Mourinho wants to bring in Liverpool star Raheem Sterling. The England international has been a revelation at Anfield in recent seasons.

Sterling has already been linked with a move to Real Madrid and it is presumed that the player is happy at his current club but is open to a transfer elsewhere if the money is right. Sterling has recently been in talks with Liverpool about a new contract and Brendan Rodgers will be keen to tie the starlet down to a long term deal. Chelsea on the other hand have a significant budget to spend and it is understood Sterling is the primary target for a summer transfer.
