Ravel Morrison to join Lazio

West Ham's misfit midfielder Ravel Morrison is to sign a pre-contract agreement with Italian side Lazio. Morrison has just six months remaining on his Hammers contract.

The hugely talented playmaker has been told that he can leave West Ham and has flown in to Rome to thrash out contract talks with the club.

Morrison, formerly of Manchester United, has had a break down in his relationship with West Ham coach Sam Allardyce.

The move to Italy comes as a major surprise but will give Morrison the chance to reverse his recent fortunes.
