Stoke forward Bojan Krkic to miss remainder of season

Stoke City have been dealt a major blow as star striker Bojan Krkic has been forced out of action for the remainder of the season after sustaining a serious injury.

The Spanish star, 24, picked up a knee injury against Rochdale in the FA Cup fourth round. The player has only just started to show flashes of his potential and will be a major loss for the Britannia side.

Mark Hughes told reporters of the injury: "He was making such a big impact on the Premier League and clearly enjoying his football."
