Nemanja Matic to sign new Chelsea deal?

Serbian international Nemanja Matic looks set to sign a one-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge following an impressive showing this season.

The talented midfielder re-joined the Blues from Benfica in January 2014, and has since then been an integral part of the first-team setup under manager Jose Mourinho.

According to The Star, the West London club are delighted with the away Matic has performed since his return, and are ready to offer him a new deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.

The report adds that the deal will include an improved wage structure of £93,000 a week.
