Chelsea agree fee for Romanian sensation

Chelsea have agreed on a deal to sign Romanian wonderkid Cristian Manea, according to The Mail.

The Blues have had the talented youngster on their radar over the past year, but failed in their bid to lure the 17-year-old.

The Mail now claims that the West London outfit have beaten the likes of Arsenal, Ajax and Udinese to capture the teenager's signature for a fee of £2.3m from his parent club Viitorul Constanta.

Manea is expected seal a five-year deal with the Blues in the summer, before joining either Real Mallorca or Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan.
