Man Utd lead Depay chase

Manchester United are understood to be leading the race to sign PSV Eindhoven forward Memphis Depay, according to The Mirror.

The Netherlands international worked under Louis van Gaal during the World Cup finals in Brazil last summer.

The Mirror reports that Van Gaal will be offered a transfer kitty of around £150m to spend top talents from around the globe during the summer transfer window.

In addition to this, the Dutchman is believed to be considering a bid in the region of £15m for the 21-year-old.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the proceedings.
