Mascherano move still on

Rafa Benitez is still keen to bring Javier Mascherano to Liverpool on a full time basis and is still in constant discussions with the player's owners. The Argentina international is currently at Anfield on an 18-month loan from West Ham.

Rafa Benitez has admitted that talks are still on regarding Mascherano.

Benitez stated on Mascherano's future. "I really don't know.

"The situation is we are working together on a lot of issues and we just have to wait.

"It's always better to get it done as soon as possible. I have confidence he will stay with us."
