Man Utd line up Begovic swoop

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal will reportedly step up his interest in Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, with David de Gea likely to switch clubs at the end of the season.

Reports have revealed that De Gea could be on his way to Real Madrid in a player-plus-cash deal to bring Gareth Bale back to the Premier League.

According to The Mirror, United manager Louis van Gaal has started to look for a replacement and consider Begovic as one among his top transfer targets.

United have dropped interest in Hugo Lloris as Spurs are unlikely to hold out for less than £25m for his sale.
