Southampton interested in Papy Djilobodji
Southampton have started negotiations with French side Nantes regarding a possible move for Papy Djilobodji, The People reports.
The Senegalese international has a year left in his existing deal at Nantest, and could be available on a cut-price deal.
According to The People, the Saints will look to sign up the 27-year-old for a fee of around £5m this summer, with manager Ronald Koeman keen on seeking a replacement for Toby Alderweireld, who is expected to leave the South Coast on the expiry of his loan deal.
Premier League newcomers Bournemouth have also shown interest in the talented defender.
