Liverpool ready to launch Benteke bid?

Liverpool will make a summer bid of around £30m bid for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, The Times reports.

The Belgian international has had a good second half to the Premier League season, and this has attracted interest from the Reds in recent weeks.

According to The Times, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will make a £30m offer for Benteke this summer, in a bid to convince winger Raheem Sterling into staying at the club.
