Chelsea plan bid for Baba Rahman

Chelsea are plotting a summer bid for Augsburg full-back Baba Rahman, according to a report.

The 20-year-old joined the Bundesliga outfit last summer, and has amassed 31 appearances helping the club finish fifth in the league.

According to Metro, Blues boss Jose Mourinho will seek to sign a replacement for left-back Filipe Luis, who is expected to return to La Liga following a dismal season with the Premier League champions.

It is added that Ghana international Rahman has attracted the Blues' interest in recent weeks, and a summer bid could be in the offing for his services.

Augsburg currently value the young defender at £20m.
