Chelsea defender off to Middlesbrough on loan

Chelsea defender Nathan Ake will spend next season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough.

The 20-year-old plyed his trade on loan at Reading this season, and has already amassed 10 appearances for the Premier League champions.

According to The Mail, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen on sending Ake on loan for next season, in order to earn sufficient first-team experience.

Chelsea have also loaned out Christian Atsu to Premier League newcomers Bournemouth for the next campaign.
