Glen Johnson to Leicester City?
Former Liverpool full back Glen Johnson is in talks with Premier League side Leicester City, following his release from Anfield. Johnson is open to a move to Nigel Pearson's Foxes, according to reports this morning.
Johnson had been released by Liverpool despite being one of Brendan Rodgers' most important players in recent seasons. Johnson reportedly decided on a move elsewhere after losing his place in Rodgers' first team. Leicester City, whose incredible upturn in form at the end of last season ensured Premier League survival, have been given a large budget to add new players to their squad for 2015/16. Turkish side Besiktas are also rumoured to have been in contact with the full back's agent.
