Arsenal not in Arturo Vidal pursuit

Arsenal have yet to make a formal offer for Chilean international Arturo Vidal, according to reports.

The Chilean star has been rumoured to have agreed personal terms with the Gunners ahead of a proposed move to the Emirates.

However, his agent has rebuffed the claims by insisting that he has yet to receive an offer from a Premier League club.

Reports elsewhere state that Gunners striker Alexis Sanchez has urged Arsene Wenger to go through with the signing of Vidal this summer, in order to boost their title credentials next season.
