Liverpool to play waiting game on Raheem Sterling
Liverpool will not give in Raheem Sterling to Manchester City unless their £50m valuation is met.
The England international has been tipped to join the Citizens this summer, but a transfer fee has yet to be agreed between the clubs involved.
City have had two bids of £35m and £40m rebuffed by the Reds for Sterling, and an improved transfer bid looks unlikely.
According to The Mirror, the Reds are ready to play hardball with the Citizens and make them wait until the New Year to sign up the Jamaican-born winger.
It is added that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers could dump Sterling to the reserves, should he lack the desire to play for the club.
