Christian Benteke agrees terms with Liverpool

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has agreed personal terms with Liverpool ahead of his proposed move to the Merseyside giants.

The Reds are understood to have triggered the Belgian international's £32.5m but-out clause following the £49m transfer of Raheem Sterling to Manchester City earlier this week.

According to Belgian journalist Kristoff Terruer, Benteke has finalized terms at Merseyside, and could be unveiled as a Liverpool player before Monday.

Benteke notched up 15 goals in 33 appearances for the Villains last season.
