Chelsea accept Filipe Luis sale

Atletico Madrid are expected to announce the signing of defender Filipe Luis in the coming days having agreed a £15m for his transfer from Chelsea.

The Brazilian international made his switch to Chelsea last summer, and has since then struggled to dispel Cesar Azpilicueta from the left-back role.

Numerous reports cite that the Blues have decided to offload the talented full-back after just one season at the club.

It is added that they have accepted a £15m fee, just £0.8m less than what they paid to bring him from Atleti last year.

Luis is expected to undergo a medical today ahead of his proposed transfer to the Basque outfit.
