Aston Villa eye move for Paul-Georges Ntep

Aston Villa are reportedly plotting a summer swoop for Rennes forward Paul-Georges Ntep.

The Villans are expected to move in for a new frontman following the sale of Christian Benteke to Liverpool recently.

A report from The Star suggests that Villa boss Tim Sherwood has identified Rennes youngster Ntep as the perfect fit to fill the void.

Ntep is thought to be keen on joining a club playing in Europe, but Villa are confident they can secure the player's services with the promise of reaching greater heights in seasons to come.

Rennes currently rate Ntep at £10m.
