Man City ponder Balotelli return

Manchester City are having thoughts of bringing striker Mario Balotelli back to the club this summer.

The Italy international had a great time with the Citizens between 2010 and 2013 where he scored 30 goals in 80 appearances.

Mario has since then moved on to his home nation with AC Milan, and recently made a switch back to the Premier League with Liverpool last summer.

According to Italian publication Tuttosport, Manuel Pellegrini's side are exploring the possibility of re-signing their former frontman before the closure of the transfer window.

City are expected to move for a new striker following the departure of the likes of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic this summer.
