Sadio Mane free to leave Southampton
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that the club will be powerless to keep hold of winger Sadio Mane in the near future.
The Senegalese international joined the Saints from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014, and has since then been a key member in the starting setup.
Mane has been the subject of interest from Manchester United over the summer, but the Saints were not willing to accept his sale.
However, Koeman feels that his side may have to give up on their star player soon, should he continue to continue to impress in the Premier League.
"Maybe one day we will lose Mane but then we have to be prepared,” he told the Daily Echo.
The 23-year-old continued his rich vein of form as he scored and provided an assist in his side's 3-1 win at Chelsea last weekend.
