Jose Mourinho tracked Yevhen Konoplyanka
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is understood to have monitored Sevilla winger Yevhen Konoplyanka during Ukraine's 1-0 defeat to Spain in the European qualifiers last week.
The Blues boss was spotted on the stands during the fixture, and this led to rumours that the 52-year-old was keeping track on Dynamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko.
However, Shakhtar Donetsk boss Mircea Lucescu has revealed that his fellow compatriot was having a keen eye on none other than Sevilla's Konoplyanka.
It is also thought that Mourinho was impressed by the player's showing, and may well plot a winter move for his services.
The Ukraine international has earlier revealed his regret at not sealing a Premier League move with Liverpool.
