Liverpool made Marchisio offer - Marotta
Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that the club have rejected a formal approach from Liverpool for star midfielder Claudio Marchisio.
The Italy international came through the youth ranks at the Old Lady, and has now racked over 300 appearances for the Italian champions.
Recent reports have claimed that new Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could seek to lure the 29-year-old to Anfield in the New Year.
However, Marotta has revealed that the player has no desire to make a move to the Premier League as he wants to finish his career at the Turin giants,
"We get so many offers for our players, but we are used to buying - not selling," he told Premium Sport following his side's no-score draw at Inter Milan on Sunday Evening.
"Our focus is strong and I think Claudio's first thought is to finish his career here. Not only Liverpool, we have received several offers."
Juventus are currently 14th in the league standings with nine points.
