Christian Benteke ready to take on Chelsea
Liverpool star Christian Benteke has revealed that he is fit and ready to add more misery to Chelsea in Saturday's Premier League encounter at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian international had been deemed doubtful for the weekend clash following a knock picked up during his side's 1-1 draw against Southampton.
However, the 24-year-old has cleared the speculation by insisting that he is looking forward to facing the Premier League holders in the next league fixture.
"I'm good," he told the club's official website. "I just felt something during the game against Southampton last week. Now it's behind me and I'm looking forward to the Chelsea game."
The Reds will be dependent on Christian Benteke and Divock Origi to lead the line due to the absence of injured duo Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings.
