Chelsea consider Mustafi raid

Chelsea will reportedly renew their pursuit for Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi in January.

The German international has been in tip-top form for Los Che ever since his move from Schalke 04 in 2014.

Mustafi had been associated with a move to Stamford Bridge over the summer, but Los Che were keen on keeping their main man following the loss of Nicolas Otamendi to Manchester City.

However, The Express cites that Blues boss Jose Mourinho will reignite interest in the former Everton graduate, as he seeks to provide fresh blood in the club's backline.

The 23-year-old has earned eight caps with Germany.
