Newcastle United eye Andy Carroll reunion
Newcastle United will reportedly seek to re-sign striker Andy Carroll from West Ham United in January.
The 26-year-old left the Magpies for Liverpool in 2011, but struggled to make any impact before signing for the Hammers in 2013.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has recently iterated his desire to keep hold of the England international, but the Magpies are ready to test the club's resolve with a tempting bid in the New Year, The Mirror reports.
Carroll has already played a crucial role this campaign as he scored the winner during his side's 2-1 win over Chelsea at Upton Park.
