Man Utd scout Ricardo Rodriguez

Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez.

The Red Devils currently have Marcus Rojo as the only reliable left-back following a long-term injury to England international Luke Shaw.

United boss Louis van Gaal has admitted the need for a new left sided defender in recent months, and The Mirror claims that the club's scouts are keeping a keen eye on Wolfsburg's Swiss star Ricardo Rodriguez.

Valencia's Jose Gaya and Leeds United's Charlie Taylor have also been previously linked with a move to Old Trafford.
