Arsenal join John Stones chase?

Arsenal have become the latest high-profile club to be linked with a move for Everton defender John Stones.

The England international had been the subject of multiple bids from Chelsea over the summer, but the Toffees were firm in their desire to keep hold of their star man.

The Blues are expected to renew their pursuit for the 21-year-old in the New Year, but according to The Mirror, the Gunners are set to offer stiff competition in the pursuit of the talented centre-back.

It is added that manager Arsene Wenger would be willing to spend bid to prise the young defender from Goodison Park.
