Chelsea ready to do battle for Man Utd Target

Chelsea could reportedly step up their interest for wantaway Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The 28-year-old is said to be discontent with the way he is being treated at Paris Saint-Germain.

Cavani has been often deployed in the wider areas since his arrival with Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic being the club's main man upfront.

It had been recently rumoured that United could jump at the chance of landing the talented striker with Les Parisiens open to his sale in the New Year.

However, in a new twist to the story, the Blues could revive their pursuit of the Uruguay international having seen star striker Diego Costa fail to meet the club's standards this season. 

Les Parisiens currently value Cavani at around £32m.
