Arsenal target former Manchester United striker
Mexican international Javier Hernandez has reportedly caught the eye of Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger.
The 27-year-old joined Bayer Leverkusen on a three-year contract last summer, having been deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United.
Chicharito has since then been in sensational form for the Bundesliga outfit, and has amassed a respective tally of 18 goals in all competitions.
According to Spanish source Don Balon, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is seemingly impressed by the player's exploits in the Bundesliga, and could come up with an offer for his services in the New Year.
It is added that several Serie A clubs including Inter Milan are in the running to land the South American forward.
Arsenal host Manchester City in the Premier League on Monday night.
