Man Utd want Ryan Bertrand

Manchester United are reportedly plotting a winter offer for Southampton full-back Ryan Bertrand.

The Red Devils are expected to sign a new left-back this month following long-term injuries to the likes of Luke Shaw, Marcus Rojo and Ashley Young.

According to The Star, manager Louis van Gaal is desperate to add an experienced left-back to his ranks before the winter transfer deadline.

Adding to this, Southampton defender Bertrand is eyed as a suitable option to fill the void.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman has recently insisted that the club will not offload their main players during the January transfer window.
