Liverpool to end Gotze frustration
Liverpool have reportedly made Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze their top target for the summer transfer window. The German international joined the Bavarian giants from Borussia Dortmund in 2013.
According to The Sun, the World Cup winner is said to be eyeing fresh pastures in the summer after he failed to convince manager Pep Guardiola of his abilities this term.
It is added that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keeping a close eye on the player's developments, and will jump at the chance of securing his services at the end of the current campaign.
Gotze worked alongside Klopp during his time at former club Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old has featured in just five league games for the Bundesliga holders this season.
