Serie A star signals intent to join Arsenal
Juventus striker Alvaro Morata is keen on making a move to Arsenal during this summer's transfer window. The 23-year-old struggled to firm a regular starting place last season with the likes of Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic preferred ahead of him in the pecking order.
According to Spanish publication AS, Real Madrid are set to activate Morata's £25m buy-back clause which was placed during his sale to Juventus in 2014.
It is added that Los Blancos will therein sell the player to the Gunners for double the price with manager Arsene Wenger eager to strengthen his striking options ahead of the next campaign.
Morata scored an extra-time winner coming as a substitute as his side truimphed over AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final.
