West Ham to sign Gokhan Tore
West Ham United are close to announcing the signing of Besiktas attacker Gokhan Tore. The Hammers have been in constant contact with the Turkish club over the player in recent months.
The Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is known to have utilised his links with former club Besiktas to pursue a deal for the highly-rated winger.
Bilic's team had initially placed a £11m bid for the 23-year-old, which was well below Besiktas' £15m valuation.
However, the East London side did come up with a middle offer of around 13.3m, and this was sufficient for the clubs to reach an agreement over the transfer, CNN Turk claims.
Tore, who graduated from the Chelsea young academy, is currently finalizing personal terms and a formal announcement could be made before the end of the day.
